Jury Duty Scam

I just had an acquaintance email me saying this has happed to him, so I'm putting out this quick notice to let everyone know.

"The phone rings, you pick it up, and the caller identifies himself as an officer of the court. He says you failed to report for jury duty and that a warrant is out for your arrest. You say you never received a notice. To clear it up, the caller says he'll need some information for "verification purposes"-your birth date, social security number, maybe even a credit card number. This is when you should hang up the phone. It's a scam." -FBI.

Why should I not use a template website service?

We know how tempting it is to want to do it all by ourselves and "save money." We easily forget that delegating is one of the number one ways in which we can save money and grow our business faster, bigger and better. Some of our prospective clients will ask us, "Well, your price is higher than the template website and I can do it myself. Why should I not use a template website?"

Yes, template websites do have some advantages:

1) You can take your time and fiddle with it for as long as you want.
2)There is no rush to get your marketing piece-your website- out the door.
3)You don't need to consult experts who are trained to do website design and development.

However, for most businesses, a template website can be a waste of time. Read below to learn why a template website can be a disservice to your business.

1. Don't let your, "I'll do it myself and save money" mentality be a disservice to your business.
2. You can’t truly have a ‘Brand’ until you invest time into designing a website, and other marketing materials, that really show your vision and coaching style – which a template just can’t do.
3. Is your grand vision a template website?
4. Do you really have the time and patience to tinker around with a template? Surely, you have heard from your own business coaches, "the best way to grow your busines is by delegating." Delegate the work of web desing to us and you take that time to go out and make meaningful connection with your clients.
5. Templates are limiting in design and marketing
6. Terrible for Search Engine Optimization
7. You’re stuck with it because if you want a real custom website you have to completely lose the website and the hosting package.

This is what one of our our clients has to say about her old template/do it yourself website:
"Before, I had an OK website that I designed myself which earned me some compliments but didn't get me either the traffic or the sign-ups that I really wanted. I was frustrated and realized that my DIY (Do It Yourself) mentality was a disservice to my business." Kim Nishida: Ready To Evolve

You decide. Is your grand vision of your business tinkering with a template website?
